Made by hand, held by a gang
I’m Bb, Elisabetta. I’m Italian and I live in the Bulgarian countryside. I make the pieces at home, slowly, and Tsvetin, Manager Topolino, helps. It started with baby blankets, toys and shawls, and now it’s a lot more: constant learning, making mistakes, new materials, new techniques, new pieces.
The rest of the Gang is everyone around it: family and friends; the animals who sit on the fabric; the people who stop at the stall to ask what a Froggotto is, and the ones who write on Instagram asking to see how things are made.
Why handmade matters
It’s about good materials, and making things you can’t just buy anywhere. It’s adding a colour at the last minute, playing with the potion of a Froggotto, deciding that a cape should be double-faced, and that one face should be different from the other. It’s about slowing down, smiling, taking time.
